The organization was founded by Belah Rose who saw the crisis of marriages everywhere and wanted to ring the bell of HOPE! She heard a speaker admonish the listeners: “Don’t decide what you want to do with your life based on what others think you should, the money, or even ‘the sure thing.’ Instead, answer the question: ‘What is the work that needs to be done?'” For Belah, Delight Your Marriage was the resounding answer to that question.

Delight Your Marriage Academy

Participant Terms & Conditions (v1.1) Updated February 9, 2026

Delight Your Marriage, LLC and you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. SERVICES

You are agreeing to participate in Delight Your Marriage Academy, a structured, biblically grounded marriage discipleship program delivered through curriculum, facilitated group discussion, and peer accountability.

The Academy may include the following components (specific offerings may vary by church or cohort):

Weekly in-person or live facilitated sessions over approximately 12–13 weeks, led by facilitators with access to the Delight Your Marriage Academy facilitator training
Weekly participant-led accountability meetings with other participants during the program term (not facilitated by Delight Your Marriage personnel)
Delight Your Marriage Academy group viewing of video teaching and physical materials, which may include audio content, written lessons, and participant worksheets released over the program duration
Possible limited-time access to recordings of select teaching sessions, when applicable, for personal review only

Delight Your Marriage, LLC provides curriculum, training, and program structure only. Hosting churches, facilitators, venues, and third-party platforms operate independently and are not agents, employees, partners, or representatives of Delight Your Marriage, LLC unless expressly stated in writing.

Facilitators may be trained or approved to lead Academy sessions but are not employees or contractors of Delight Your Marriage, LLC unless otherwise specified by written agreement.

Hosting churches or venues are solely responsible for the safety, suitability, and condition of their facilities, including any in-person meetings, childcare arrangements, travel logistics, or on-site activities. Delight Your Marriage, LLC assumes no responsibility for venue conditions, transportation, lodging, or related matters.

2. PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY & DISCLAIMERS

We take reasonable measures to keep client information confidential. Participation in the Academy may involve the sharing of personal, sensitive, or confidential information within group settings.

All participants and group facilitators agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared during group sessions and/or with accountability partner(s). Delight Your Marriage team members agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information acquired as a result of your registering for, and participation in, the Academy.

The exceptions to this are: 1) once you have registered, your name and email address will be shared with your group Facilitator 2) after taking the Marital Health Assessment (MHA), the scores will be listed for your group Facilitator,however, your name will not be associated with the MHA results 3) if you agree to share testimony of your experience, we would provide a release form in order to use your testimony associated with your PII).

Personally identifying information (PII), any data that can be used to distinguish, trace, or identify an individual’s identity, either alone or when combined with other personal or identifying information, ie photos, videos, phone numbers,or email addresses, may not be used as marketing materials without explicit permission from the individual(s) involved. We aim to and will use reasonable measures to keep PII confidential.

You acknowledge that the use of technology (including email, registering for the Academy, completing the Marital Health Assessments, etc.) carries inherent confidentiality risks associated with online access and you accept those risks.

You understand and agree that Delight Your Marriage, LLC cannot guarantee confidentiality if another participant violates these standards and agree to not hold Delight Your Marriage, LLC or its personnel (staff, volunteers, and 3rd party vendors) liable for such violations by other participants and/or group leaders.

Third-Party Platforms & Data Processing

Participation in Delight Your Marriage Academy may require the use of third-party platforms and service providers to deliver program materials, communications, scheduling, data storage, assessments, and operational support. These may include, but are not limited to, customer relationship management systems, automation tools, email services, video conferencing platforms, and file storage systems (including but not limited to: High Level, Google services, Make, and similar tools).

By registering for and participating in the Academy, you acknowledge and agree that your information may be processed, stored, and accessed by such third-party service providers solely for purposes related to program delivery, operations, assessments, and communication.

Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies, which are governed by the platform providers and not by Delight Your Marriage, LLC. Delight Your Marriage, LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices or data handling policies of third-party platforms.

Where required, links to applicable third-party terms of service and privacy policies are made available at registration, within the program platform, or upon request. By participating in the Academy, you consent to such third-party data processing.

Legal and Safety Limitations

Confidentiality may be limited if:

Child or elder abuse or neglect is disclosed
There is a credible threat of harm to yourself or others
A court order requires disclosure

Not Therapy or Medical Care

You acknowledge and agree that:

Delight Your Marriage Academy is not mental health treatment, medical care, counseling, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention
Facilitators, trainers, teachers, coaches, and staff are not acting as licensed mental health professionals or medical providers
The program does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health or medical conditions
You remain fully responsible for your own physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational well-being

You agree not to use Delight Your Marriage Academy as a substitute for professional counseling, psychotherapy, medical care, or substance abuse treatment when such care is needed.

You hereby release and forever discharge Delight Your Marriage, LLC, its facilitators, staff, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims arising from your participation in the Academy, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. YOU CONTROL YOUR RESULTS

Delight Your Marriage commits to providing biblically grounded teaching, proven frameworks, and structured support. However:

Results are not guaranteed
Transformation depends on your personal engagement, application, choices, and follow-through
No promises are made regarding specific relational, emotional, spiritual, or marital outcomes

All guidance offered is for educational and discipleship purposes only. You give informed consent to participate with full understanding of these limitations.

Participation in the Academy does not create a fiduciary, counseling, pastoral, or therapeutic relationship between you and Delight Your Marriage, LLC or its facilitators.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USE OF MATERIALS

All Delight Your Marriage Academy materials, including but not limited to video teachings, audio recordings, written lessons, worksheets, frameworks, facilitator content, assessments, and session materials (collectively, “Materials”), are the sole property of Delight Your Marriage, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Access to the Materials is granted solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This access is non-transferable and may not be shared with any other individual, group, church, or organization.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, upload, transmit, record, or create derivative works from the Materials, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Delight Your Marriage, LLC.

Recording of Academy sessions, whether audio or video, is not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing by Delight Your Marriage, LLC.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Delight Your Marriage, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to participation in the Academy.

You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you assume all risks associated with group participation, discussion of personal matters, and application of the program content, including emotional distress, relational discomfort, or conflict arising from participation or application of program teachings.

6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If a dispute arises from this Agreement, you agree to resolve the dispute through neutral binding arbitration, rather than court litigation. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to reduce costs and preserve resources for mission-focused work.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your participation in the Academy shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its applicable rules. Arbitration shall take place in the State of New York, unless otherwise required by law. Each party shall bear its own legal fees and costs unless otherwise required by law.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding. Arbitration or legal proceedings may not be consolidated with those of any other party.

The arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court, shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This governing law applies regardless of your country, state, or jurisdiction of residence or participation.

8. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

9. FEES & REFUNDS

Fees, payments, and refunds, if any, are determined and administered by the hosting church or organization. Delight Your Marriage, LLC does not process participant payments or issue refunds unless explicitly stated in writing.

This year-long license belongs to the entity or facilitator purchasing. This license may not be transferred to another entity or facilitator. If you have questions, please contact office@delightyourmarriage.com.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to be responsible for your conduct during participation in the Academy and to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Delight Your Marriage, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, facilitators, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your actions, omissions, or violation of this Agreement including claims brought by other participants or third parties.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties. No other promises, representations, or agreements exist outside of what is written here. The only exception to this is in the event that a testimony including PII that you want to share as a result of your participation in the Delight Your Marriage Academy, which would be agreed to specifically with a separate testimonial release form.

12. MODIFICATIONS & VERSIONING

This Agreement applies to the version in effect at the time of registration. Any future revisions will apply only to future registrations unless expressly stated otherwise.

13. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE & CAPACITY

By registering for Delight Your Marriage Academy and checking the acceptance box, you acknowledge that:

You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
Your electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding electronic signature, equivalent to a handwritten signature, in accordance with applicable law
